There is a girl ,'Kenadie Jourdin-Bromley', who has 'primordial dwarfism'. It a kind of diseas that only can grow at most 90cm. There are only 100 people who got this disease in the world. She lives in Canada with her parents. When she born, the doctor said that she would die after several months. But her parents took care of her with love and now she is very healthy. she is four years old, 66cm, and 4.5kg. The doctors were also surprised and they said that she can live until fourty years old. They said she looks like a little chinese doll, so she is called as 'doll girl'. Also her neighbors treat her as a girl same as other. Now a days, she is learning about language and the right way to eat foods.

(Korean Article...)about eating salt
WHO and korean health care organization said we eat too many salts in our life. If we eat too many salts and it don's come out than it can cause the disease, 'hypertension' which can kill 25% of patients who get this disease. They said our needed amount of salts per day is 5grams, but now a days people eat 12grams a day, so they warned this problem. Korean foods usually have more salts in it than other country foods. So 27% of south koreans have hypertension and more than 50% of people who are sixty to sixty- nine have hypertension. Also this diseas cause the stomach cancer. so we need to decreas our eating amount of salt. we usually eat noodle, but it has 5 grams amount of salt, so we have to avoid. Salts are really important for our health, but it's also dangerous if we take too much.

Gwen is a seventeen-year old girl who came to her grandpa's house in New York. She really wants to get in the music school in the New York with playing her violin, so she moved to her grandpa's house alone. Her grandpa and Gwen didn't talk a lot, but they shared their time a lot. But one day, her grandpa disappeared leaving only the voice message that says don't worry and don't tell anyone, he'll comeback. So Gwen tried to be calm and didn't tell anyone, but she was very confused with her missing grandpa. I think she is very trustful,brave, independent, and calm. Because after her grandpa disappeared, she kept that secret. Also, she got the letter from her mother, and she could tell her mom, but she didn't. She contineosly practiced the violin and tried to calm down herself. I wonder if she passed that tryout and her grandpa come back.

In Texas, there are two air line, Southwest and American. Southwest women worker don't have the changed shape of foot, but the American worker women do. Because while Southwest workers wear tennis shoes during work, American workers wear high hills. It made American women workers have the strange shape of foot. There are three different disease about these strange shaped foot. Long time ago, in Korea, they wore the kind of socks called ,'Boe seon', it made their feet shape changed. Their thumb toe side bones pop out. This is called 'hallux valgus'. The women who wear high hills often or naturally have the wide feet, are easy to get one of these kind of disease, 'tailor syndrome'. This is the shape that pinky toe side bones pop out. Other kind is 'brachydactyly', which have the shorter toe than other toes. I didn't know that toe are really important for our health, from now on, we should care about our foot.

In south korea, last 2 years there were so many stars' suicide, more than 6. All of these suiside is from the stress about the bad responses on online article about them. Some people just respond really badly or make rumors about them which can hurt stars. And now a days it's getting worse and worse and then it made some stars to kill themselves. The goverment argue about the anonimity. Anonimity is the character on online. We are using computer and we respond on many article, but we don't have to put my name on it, no one knows who write those. It's anonimity. Anonimity made people could write some bad response too, but also if anonimity is not garanteed then our privacy could be revealed.

Newspaper article.

There were a 6 year old girl and her 3 year old younger brother alone in the house. Her parents keep their gun on the shelf for just in case. The girl grabed the gun and play with that gun. Finally she pulled the trigger of the gun, and it shoots her little brother, then he died. Even if she shoot the gun to her brother by accident, she will feel so guilty when she grown up. I think it's the parent's fault. They should keep their gun in the locked drawer. They lost their children by thier carelessness. Also I hope we must not keep the gun in the house. It could make another kind of accident. Someone who get mad, could shoot or teenager children can bring that gun to their school. I can understand why people keep their gun in the house, but they have to be careful from themselves and their children.

Jess is a girl who usually enjoy to ride horses with her friends in Sandy Lane Stables, but that saturday, she couldn't, because she had a appointment at Rychester for meeting with her new horse, Skylark. She was so excited that day, so she went to Rychester earlier than the appointment time. She met some new girls. She knew one of them, but that girl is very arrogant and not nice. Jess looked like she was hopeless with that girl, like "She looked hopelessly at Camilla's beautiful riding outfit, her perfect hair, her prettily arrogant face..." Jess doesn't like her, but she thinks about the long time will spend with them, so she tried to be nice. I think Jess is a quite and shy girl. I hope she learn about confidence this time.

I reda a article about the Bethany Hamilton when I was searching for the three modern heroes. She was born in Hawaii in 1980. Her parents rode her on the surfboard as a toddle. She learned surfing from their parents and she won the contest when she was 7 years old. But when she was 15 , she got a bit from a 14 feet long shark during surfing. She lost her whole left arm , but she went to the safe place as her instint. It could make her given up surfing , but she started surfing again. She overcame that hard thing in that month. I was so impressed, because if I were her I probably though my surfing life is over of course and I would be depressed every time. But she changed negative thing to positive mind. I saw her picture in her supporting website, she is smiling in all picture. I think it's the power of the believe in the god. Her parents taught her about the Jesus since she was young. It made her to be positive. I'll keep this in my mind and try to be positive.

I also think he is very smart, because he seemed like that he could understand what you are saying. You did a great job. Winn - Dixie looks very dirty and stupid because of his matted-up hair and some bald part. People probably thought him as just a stupid dog, but you found his value. Awesome! EATING HEROES----EATING BUGS OR FOODS?

There are many kinds of eating heroes like eating contest heroes, eating heathy foods heroes, or eating bugs heroes. But I searched only two parts : eating foods or bugs.

How was it? Maybe you couldn't understnad why they are eating bugs. There are many different types of people. Some people like to eat bugs like us eating foods. It's hard to understand but I think we should understand them.

*Book

This is the book "Man eating bugs", written by Peter Menzel, Faith D'Aluisio . They visited many country like Austrailla and China eating bugs and took a picture. They also tested eating bugs. Here's the quote from him about eating scorpions.

"The chef and manager appear with a special treat--an appetizer of live scorpions. First the manager puts them in a small bowl of water. The scorpions aren't happy about this. They start thrashing around. A good sign, I decide. If we are going to eat live scorpions, let them be very alive. With chopsticks, the manager removes the scorpions from their bath and drops them in rice wine for a few minutes. The scorpions stop struggling and go into a coma. There are people eating bugs. First time searching about eating bugs, I thought eating bugs is really "gross" and I couldn't understand them at all. I just thought they are crazy. But I read some articles and quote from their view. They say that it's a another part of the culture. Some people asked to the readers that why we don't eat bugs. She says the bugs are also the nature, so we can eat. Some people also say that some bugs are good for our health. There are many different types of people in this world.We must not look down some different groups because they are strange for us and they are small groups. We need to understand and respect them. I'll never eat bugs for my entire life, but I'm trying to understand them.

I like eating tasty foods, not too much. So searching about eating foods heroes was pretty interesting for me. I wonder how can Kobayashi or Joey Chestnt eat almost 50 hot dogs. I thought they are just trying to win the contest. I learnded that they are ready or keep training for the contest. That contest were important for them. I also thought eating too much is stupid, but they are not stupid, because they regard eating as the sports and they try to control to accept that amount of foods. It was amazing for me. Like the kobayashi's quote, I wonder how much human can eat. I don't think we can find out that forever.

There is the little baby bunny whose parents want to know what he is when he grows up. They guess him to be a policeman or a doctor or a circus clown. But the baby bunny doesn't want to be like those jobs. He just wants to be a nice daddy. I can understand that baby bunny. Sometimes parents and friends expect other things that are different with my thought. But they can not guess ,"Can you guess what he will be?". Sometimes they want me to be something that they wanted to be when they was young. My mother also wanted me to be a doctor. Because she wanted to be a doctor when she was a high schooler. But I want to be another thing, so she understood that. In korea, many parents and teachers want their kids to be something in high position. I know they want their to be a respected person, but I don't think it's good. I know that we will be happy if we do what we want to do. there's no special person in this book, just someone outside of this story tells us all of us are basically same. The person said that their skins, lives, homes, words and lands may be different from me, but inside of us are same. In this book, "Joys are the same, and love is the same. pain is the same, and blood is the same. Smiles are the same, and hearts are just the same- wherever they are, wherever you are, wherever we are, all over the world." When I read this book, I was thinking about the war. They are just fighting over each other and kill each other, but like this book they also have their family and pain. Even though this book is for kids, it makes me think about our world again. If people consider about this one, the world will be more peaceful. If we accept this thinking, we can be understandable other people in other conditions. I really hope many people consider this.

I like this book, even though it's a book for kids. This book realize us how much our parents love

us. There are a little nutbrown hare and a big nutbrown hare. The little nutbrown hare tried to show to the big nutbrown hare that how much it loves him, but always finally the big nutbrown hare shows that he loves him more until the end of the book. In the end of the book , "Then he lay down close by and whispered with a smile, 'I love you right up to the moon and back.'" shows that the big nutbrown hare love his son. Also, this part made me warm hearts. The title,"Guess how much I love you" first time looked like that the pespective from the little nutbrown, but after reading the whole book, I realize that actually this title is from the big nutbrown hare.

When you saw the rabbit with long legs and felt to go to the magic tree, you said, "That morgan's back!"so I could know that you saved Morgan!! It's so nice!
I think you're a very brave girl while Jack acts with prudence. I really want to go that ghost town too. You already met one ghost playing piano in the hotel. When the piano stop playing, I was so scary~~~Can you tell me when you meet another ghost?

When she woke you up in the midnight and said,"Let's go to the treehouse!", you sighed and you looked like you won't go, but finally you followed your sister.

Hallie and Homero have a lot of differences.
Homero is a father of Hallie and Codi. I thik both of them are wise. But he is very distant father about them. Because he didn’t know that his children always sleep together. And now, he is very ill. He is also very observant person, because he knew that Codi had a 5 months baby.
Hallie is pretty. We can know this from the part which codi said that the boys used to her to reach Hallie. Hallie is also very caring person, because she risks her life to help other people. She is adventurous. She travels all the way .

The Book I Read...*

The Dating Game -life with Derekr

This book has same characters with the Disney program, ‘Life With Derek’. Casey is a normal high school girl, and her mother married with George. So she lives with her stepbrother, Derek. They go to same high school, and Derek always makes her laugh at school. One day, she hided from her ex-boyfriend strolling with a new girl friend. Derek saw that and he teased about that. After that, she noticed that there are all couples in hallways. So she wanted to try her boyfriend.
I like view point of this book. The chapter is starting with a diary of Casey, and this diary let the readers know about her emotion directly. Other parts are a view from the viewer from outside of this book.

It's easier to focus on this book than others. Because this story is very interesting for me and easy to understand what's going on.

I'm a grateful person.

I came to America 6 weeks ago. So far, I haven't gotten homesick.
And I stay with awesome host family. Also, I stay in a perfect
palce. And now I go to nice high School.
I am always grateful to God about my life.
